Who We Are

Miller & Harrison, LLC, is a law firm of three lawyers with over 100 years of combined legal experience. Bob Miller began practicing law in Boulder in 1966. David Harrison joined the firm in 1983. Joan Clifford has been an associate in the firm since 1970.

Well respected in the community and among our peers, our firm is AV rated (the highest rating possible) by Martindale-Hubbell. An AV rating indicates achievement of the highest level of professional excellence through long-standing experience in a particular bar and is something assigned to us by our peers in the legal community. In addition to our AV rating, in 1996, a partner of the firm was appointed as a District Court Judge in Boulder County.

Our partners share a dynamic approach to living. Bob Miller still plays rugby and was at one time a professional rodeo rider. Bob also raises horses. Dave Harrison runs marathons and plays ice hockey. Dave enjoys the outdoors. Joan Clifford is an avid horsewoman and an avid outdoors person. The rugged intensity seen in our love of sports and the outdoors is also the degree of passion we bring to our advocacy. We take our cases to heart and have the energy to prevail in litigation as demonstrated by our proven track record.

Our Location

Miller and Harrison, LLC, is a well established firm and has been located in the historic Grill House Mansion on Mapleton Hill near the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado for over 25 years.
